In fact, since 1989, there was no general census in Albania where citizens could freely declare their nationality. Among the minorities living in Albania to replace the Greeks, the association was founded in 1991 in the organization Omonia, residing mainly in the southern part of the country, Macedonians grouped in 4 Societies: MIR, Gora, Med and Prespa, represented by a political party-Macedonian Party for European Integration of Albania.
